---------------------------------
Trivial King 1.0 12/26/91 Initial release.
Trivial King 1.1 12/28/91 Fix problem with bulletins and added a limit
on the total question allowed for a unregistered
copy. The maximum questions are 250 until
registered which will then open up 1500 more!!
Trivial King 1.2 12/30/91 Changed the registration format and also changed
the main welcome screen.. Fixed 1 bug with it not
closing the config file.. Just about there folks.
FIXED THE BAD PROBLEM WITH THE WRONG ANSWERS FOR
THE QUESTIONS.
Trivial King 1.3 01/01/91 All visible problems are now fixed.. "As far as I
can see..." Also added record locking for Multi-
Node purposes. Please report any other bugs
Trivial King 1.4 01/02/92 Fixed the problem with the door not letting in
new users.. Thanks to Kyle Russell we found this
error...
Trivial King 1.5 01/03/92 Fixed problem with bulletins not outputing correct
scores, seems if anyone scored 0 then everyone
below that point in the scores.dat file would not
show up in the bulletins..
Trivial King 1.6 01/04/92 Added Setup.exe to generate configuration files
NO NEED to upgrade if you already have 1.5.
Trivial King 2.0 02/06/92 Lots of bug fixes and cosmetic work. I added a way
for the user to keep up with there progress through
the huge database. Also added the feature for the
user to see how many questions are in the database
1750 if registered, 250 in UnRegistered. Also made
it possible ofr the user to access the instructions
while in the main question playing screen.
Fixed problem with non ansi callers getting a more
prompt on the main menu. This was a fairly serious
bug since it would'nt let any play the game in
ascii.
Trivial King 2.1 02/06/92 Fixed problem with colors not displaying correctly
with Qmodem on the main menu. Also added the a
compile date to the opening register screen. Fixed
a small problem with the install.com. Seem that
once in awhile on some systems the install command
would lock up the system. Trivial King is now wrote
in Bascom 7.1! Its faster and smaller and its easy
on the programmer.
Trivial King 2.2 02/19/92 Fixed the bug where users were getting a Path/File
access error. This bug was reported by Cliff Watkins
from Intelec Mail BBS. Seems this error was only
being seen on Lan networks. No DesqView problem
were discovered. This should be getting just about
to the end of things.
